St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church

Established as a mission, St. Michael’s first church was blessed on May 12, 1912 and had about 30 families registered, most of Czech ancestry.  On January 17, 1926, St. Michael’s was established as a parish and the present day church was completed and dedicated on June 25, 1928.

The present parish hall was built from the old church.  In the mid 1950’s, the rectory was remodeled and the church was redecorated.  Three additional rooms and restrooms were added to the Parish hall at that time.  The Annex Building was purchased in 1964 and the church was again restored after a fire in 1973.

In 1992 the present Parish Hall was remodeled, additional classrooms were added, a Parish Administration Center was built, as well as the addition of restrooms for the Church.  In 2002 the Adoration Chapel was added to the church facilities.  In 2007 a family life center was built to serve the needs of our ever-growing family.  

Our parish family has grown in number from those 30 families in 1912 to 250 families in 1971 and today we have over 800 registered families.
